Clydes/ Rockcrushers that want to ride in East Mesa......

I am a true CLYDESDALE rider(300 and 6'5) looking for others to ride geared and SS around the Usery,Hawes,K-Trails area.
I dont mind riding with the lighter rabbits but its no fun constantly chasing them. Just looking for like minded Clydes that enjoy seat time.
Im not slow and definitely not rabbit fast..I can hold my own..
I currently ride a Gary Fisher Rig SS and next week will have my new Trance X.
Hope to meet some more riders...Im not new to this just putting a feeler out there for others.
Sundays seem to work well with another Clyde I ride with near Peralta Trails, Im down for Saturday mornings or the occasional 430 pm ride during the week(not afraid of the dark) I have lights !!

So if you want to ride with friends or like minded riders, message me here and we can get in contact so we can RIDE !!
    SIDE NOTE :::
A group of Clydes tend to make others flinch at first then cheer us because who the hell doesnt think a 300lb gotee wearing 6"5 man isnt at least a little out of the norm..just sayin !!

I am with you. I am 6'1" 260 and riding with the "rabbits" as you call them are fun but is it tiresome to chase them down all the time. I am down to ride with you. I live in the southeast valley closer to San Tan park but will travel up north to hawes and have yet to ride gold canyon. I will PM you with my info.

I ride with 3 other guys, and while not all clydes, we aren't all that rabbit-like either:

    6'1" 175lbs (me)
    6'2" 245lbs (bro)
    6'3" 175lbs (bro-in-law)
    6'5" 265lbs (bro-in-law)

Most of us live in San Tan Valley (with one in East Mesa), and we tend to ride Hawes quite a bit, as well a SoMo, and the occasional San Tan ride as well. We usually ride Sunday afternoon/evenings.

I also just recently purchased a new light, so I wouldn'tbe opposed to some night rides as well. (I used to ride National a few times a week at night, but it has been several years since my last night ride...)

Freightrain, Glad to see you are riding again. I can't think of how long it's been since we last rode together. I look forward to seeing you there and hearing the crushing of boulders as you ride over the them.

I hurt all over and I didn't even crash. Good ride today even though some of the trails were washed out and had some nasty ruts (Vortex DH especially)

Yeah I hurt too. Time for a new helmet! That was a lot of fun. Quartz Ridge kicked my already beat down ass. I was doing pretty okay until that last part. Thanks everyone who showed up and rode- I have some unfinished business with a lot of those trails!

Is it safe to assume these rides are open to others, assuming I fall into the size category ?
I'm tall and may be free for one of these ride offers. Just curious.
