    Cave Buttes Rec Area

Anything out here? I know there are trails everywhere out there, but I've never ridden them.

    Gracias.
Me to my riding buddy, "Want to ride this afternoon?"
Him, "I can't. I have to chop this guys foot off at 2".

Depends what you want to do. Its mostly flat, can be sandy in the cooler sections and maybe good for a recovery spin. Best bet is Sonorans which are just west of there in the hills with some cool trails. Here is a link Official Site of the City of Phoenix - Trail Map
Find a ride on FB> AZ MTB

Cave Butte trails are basically gone (the good ones) since they started the road construction right through the middle of them. We just use the ones that are left to get to the Sonoran trails CSTEM is talking about.

the only reason to ride them is to connect to Sonoran Preserve,
it's not very exciting - mostly flat and jeep roads
