Bike Recommendation, or any LBSes sell Transitions?

Have my eye on this book for tooling around the neighborhood:
    https://www.transitionbikes.com/2013/Bikes_Klunker.cfm

Website says no AZ dealers--and don't want to buy online--but was wondering if anybody has purchased a Transition bike from an LBS in the past.

Also, the appeal of this bike is it's throwback. I'm going to also start looking for any local deals on klunkers (singlespeed and coaster brakes really appeal to me too). But was wondering if anybody has any other recommendations. Like to keep it under $500.

How about something like this....Made in New York City. Would make an excellent Klunker (a bit heavy, but might help down hill) . I think you can get the frame only for 190.00.

To answer your question I got my Transition TransAM at Rage Cycles.

I'll stop in there is weekend. Went in for the first time a couple weeks ago, and was an awesome shop.

Just to revisit this, I'm now the new owner of a brand new Klunker courtsey of Javelina Cycles.
