    A beginners guide to Geronimo

Step 1- disconnect your brakes as they are not needed on this ride. (well maybe leave one hooked up for the switchbacks)
Step 2- armor up ! There is, after all, a section of this trail called The Kidney Chasm !
Step 3- It is mandatory that you yell GERONIMO ! as loud and as often as possible while descending this trail for the first time. ( certain sections are so fast and chunky that I am sure my deep voiced GERONIMO ! often times had me sounding more like a cheerleader about to get raped then a heavyweight mountain biker )

This trail is a blast and I am anxious to ride it again !

    Crappy cell phone photos-

The only bad part is climbing up 24th to Mormon when you are tired and hot. Not gonna' lie, I looked like this on the way up it:

But, when you do get to the top, you get to finish off a great ride with a fast lower National.

I did get to meet Grave9 and Blatant on my way up National. They were bombing down Natty on a shuttle run and I was very jealous of that fact. Great to meet you guys !

    Oh yeah-
Step 4- wait until spring to ride this trail !

I had been warned that it was at it's worst but it was still fun to ride. When you go down on that trail though, it's gonna' be a rough one !

Surprisingly, the faster you go the smoother it is.

The part that I hate is when I go through the Boy Scout camp and the pudgy bastards won't share their camping food.

That's what the armor is really for.....just wipe off the blood once you're at the bottom.

Cess- I agree, which is why step 1 is to not use your brakes. I hate the boyscout camp because I got fenced in and had to backtrack !
Skinny- I actually haven't crashed in a few weeks, I'm saving it for DGs birthday ride tomorrow !
Phillbo- I apologize if any women or children had to see that last pic. Life can be ugly sometimes.

That's a pretty cool illustrated guide, it adds Geronimo to my SoMo to-do list.

Somo is the b!tch geronimo is just a nasty finger reaching up her skirt.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.

Don't talk dirty to her or she will puncture your Ti 888. She won't even give you a kiss goodbye either.
