    BCT trail conditions?

Thinking of a bikepacking trip on BCT next month and wanted to know what the trail conditions are.
Overgrown? Washed out from Monsoons? Any areas to avoid?

    Thanks!

Where? BCT is long. I rode the southern end of BCT from Emery Henderson to just shy of Table mesa. Trail is pretty much the same as always.

I've heard Antelope Canyon is in bad shape, washed out in several places.

I've not ridden it since early summer, but from Antelope north to 69 and a large amount of the stuff north of 69 is really post-holed from cattle. Can't imagine that has changed much unless they've figured out a way to recruit cattle to do trailwork. If you ride north of Antelope, I would be REALLY sure you have lotsa stans in your tires... Lime Kiln in the verde valley as well as some jeep roads south of 169 are COVERED in goatheads...so anything in that 3-4 k elevation range will probably be the same.
All that being said, I'd still ride it...a loaded bike has a way of smoothing out the bumps. Just be careful in Antelope... In the best of times, it was loose over hardpack, now it's gotta be dicey.
Your limits are both physical and mental. Suffering will help you find and overcome both.

Not at its best but far from bad. Cat Claw on the upper and some Monsoon washout as stated. We're (Sonoran Expeditions) going down for a weekend grooming November 2-3. Anyone interested in joining? This will be an overnight camping trip with food, beer and hard work.
