Kavu told me he caught you up to speed!? Just talked to doodoo and he's good to go for leaving Friday night. Stay in Boulder city that night at the "el rancho" and ride all day Saturday til our legs or arms fall off and head back or stay on the strip.

Rockin, works for me. Who's the roll call? Kavu, DooDoo, you and me? Two Tone Tony said he might want in if we got a seat, but I told him I needed to see who was all going first.

Only bikes 40 lbs and over.
No room for DooDoo's XC bike.

We should pony-up some dough to convince Kavu to get the pedo-bear van up and running for this trip. We haven't had a pedo road trip in a while!!! I am down to throw down cash for gas since it's cheap right now it's a good opportunity!!!

Only two problems with that -
    Brian is scared of it.
And the gas gauges don't work. That's not really a problem since with both tanks full, it won't run out.

Oh man, that would RULE, but we would have to hit Vegas afterwards and do some freeriding on the strip with cameras rolling...

I can see it now. "Did Kavu just tire tap that hooker?"

Hmmmm, if it actually had all the parts to make it rideable, I might consider it given enough Georgia Moon

What about the Sluggo, does that still warrant hero status?

Its had a full once over, so its solid.

    Shuttling would be tricky though.

You guys can decide. Its there if you want. This would probably be its last trip though.

I totally forgot about the shuttle situation. I think it might be worth the van trip so that we can have a wicked time when we are roaming around vegas. Hmmmmm tough decision to make. I am still down for the van to use on the way up there but it would suck to use there shuttles at 5 bucks a pop.

Also heard that they are not that nice to your bikes on there shuttles.
I might just bring a smll blanket that I can roll and tuck into my camelback to protect my bike!!!

I know, I know, acting like markskee here but give me some credit I have shuttled that bad boy for the past two weekends non stop!!!

What's your prediciton Kavu on using pedo for shuttles also???

Assuming 5 bikes...not sure. Two can be placed on top of each other in the back, with the seat folded down. Then two can go on the rack. Not sure about the 5th, can go on the roof I guess. Would take longer than a pickup, that's for sure. Its doable, but it'll be a bit of a pain.

The van runs great, not worried about that. I dunno, up to you guys. I'm good either way.

    What's all the Vegas talk

Even still, wouldn't be difficult, one bike can lay on the seat in back.

    Nope.
Plenty of space for a cooler. Its pretty massive inside. Especially if one bike goes on the rack up top.
Keep in mind - no A/C, but the heater works great. And a tape deck, no CD player. I have the iPod cassette adapter and charger though.

Just give azdog a sedative before the trip.

The earliest I could possibly get out would be 4. And there really isn't a good chance of that happening. I'll try.

azdog is sketched about the van already, especially for shuttles.

I don't see why it wouldn't, unless the road is like Elden.

    Sweet.

I'll probably be getting out of work @ 5...so, meet at my house around 5:30 (or as early as you can).

I have those ATV loading straps for the rack.
