AZ Photo Friday - Nov. 16th

Rode the goof-off-muter on Lost Dog Wash Trail.

Saw an upside-down rainbow along the way.

Glad to ride an overpass over a busy highway.

Nice shot! That's a circumzenithal arc.
See here: Circumzenithal Arc for an example that looks almost exactly like your shot.

^^^ Wicked shot! As well with the upside down rainbow. Haven't seen one of those. Pretty cool.

    good stoke mnt rider.

I've never seen an upside-down rainbow. Interesting. I wonder about the dynamics that create that as opposed to the 'normal' rainbow. I'm always amazed at our Earth. The perfect cosmic storm of a dying star, un-imaginable time and key elements all coming together. Creator or not, it's amazing!

As some of you know, this was a big week for CoyoteKis (Deanna) and me (waltaz)...

We met via MTBR and mountain biking, and it has been, and remains, a HUGE part of our lives. It's only fitting to put a few pics up here...

    Congratulations.

Can't compare with the nuptials, but here's a couple shots as I hauled my tired carcass up 24th St. yesterday.

    Thanks for the congrats! :-)
We debated between getting married on a beach, or at the top of Sunrise (McDowells), and thank jeebus we decided on the former, given my untimely surgery for an avulsion fracture.
I got my "something blue", anyway. ;-)

    Cheers!

You must be this tall to enjoy this stoke...

My son lined up for his first race with all his buddies at Black Mountain BMX last night... He is second from the left. Off the start I could of sworn I heard him say "Strava this win *****es!"

Checking out the new north Tom's Thumb access area, really cool.

The Bell Pass sign is getting pretty scratched up.

Bummer about people abusing the signage in the preserve. Perhaps they can focus their destructive energies on the "no bikes allowed" sign at the entrance to the landslide... lol...
Seriously, bummer people feel compelled to do that stuff.
