But to answer your question, WHAT, ARE YOU CRAZY? HELL NO, I'M NOT RIDING!!!!! (Besides, I'm in San Francisco, where I dont' even need to wear a jacket right now.)
Meeting a couple guys to ride K-trail in Gold Canyon this afternoon.....breaking out the cold weather riding gear for sure! Not to stoked on going out though I must say.
Put on my warm SWOBO tights, balaclava and wool socks and good to go! The snow ride on Bug Springs last week was a blast. Proved that wool socks keep you warm when very whet after slipping into the stream and soaking my feet. 2-3" of snow on that Mt Lemmon trail. Had another snow ride on Reddington Pass AZT/ATV, one slip on ice brought me down in the soft snow.
Wife and I just got back from hiking up to Tom's Thumb and around. You think the wind is cold and biting down here, it's nothing to being at the top of the McDowells!
