    any good trails in scottsdale

    All
I will be in Scottsdale in a few days for work, staying on McCormick parkway just east of the 101. Are there any good trails nearby worth taking the bike with? If not, I can always take the jogging shoes and jog some trails/sidewalks in the 'hoods.
    Thanks

YES, lots of good desert riding here!

    Beginner/intermediate/beautiful: Read This

Competition Loops and other nice trails: Here

Then there is this little thing called the Quadruple Bypass.

Edit: None of these rides are right next to where you are staying, but close in Scottsdale, or just east of Scottsdale.

Just take Doubletree Ranch Rd. west to Tatum and park at the tiny Trail 100 trailhead. Tons of riding/running/hiking in PMP from there.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve is nearby: Trailhead

Lost Dog Wash trailhead is probably closest.

No need for the jogging shoes. What kind of trail are you looking for? Fast, smooth singletrack or some good chunk? Scottsdale/Phoenix has some good options by where you will be

Scottsdale sucks, Arizona sucks. All the hype you have heard about mountain biking here is lies, it is the worst place to ride. Flatter than your wife's chest, might as well be riding in North Dakota with the bison and oil drillers.
