Well that was a great time until I cased that rock on Warpaint and never got that tire to hold air again. We still had a good time.I went though all the patches I had and one that Patti had and still didn't finish the ride. This video is different there is no soundtrack. Just the noise of the tires on the ultimate packed dirt that I love about Winter. The ground today was tacky, quick, and damp.
Amy nailed the tank climb on her SS.
Kaboosse thanks for a great time
Rix-ster keep going you'll catch them
to all the other's thanks for the air, tube, and support for my fight against flats
Sorry but I had to bail with a annoying flat-atude

it was a great ride despite all the flats! and amy climbing the water tank on a ss? you go girl, i make it on my cushie geared half the time...or less.
dave, i loved the musicless video: passing the riders while manuevering the bike with one hand, the 360 in the middle, and of course, the pertinent ending. all very clever!
here's the same pic i posted on my old thread. we must do this again!

Ah that was you guys. We were parked at the bench on DC when a big MTBR-looking group rode by. Must have been your group.

Too bad I missed this one (and allot of others), looks like ya'll had some much fun out there. Unfortunately, I was working. Sometimes I miss the mud in the Midwest. Most time not, but after seeing this video, I want to take by bike with me to Arkansas on Monday.......but I won't have time to ride anyway. Maybe next time.
Everyday of my life, I'm forced to add another name to the list of people that piss me off!
Nice job on the vid Didn't get to finish that ride but it looked good. Thanks for a great ride.
Dave
P.S. I think we had a sandbagger or two on this ride.
I really hate to say anything. With pet peeves its alway better to just keep ones mouth shut. but I'm tired of being at work so....
Please ride THROUGH puddles. you will not melt. your drive train will not be ruined. But you WILL widden the trail if you go around.
I know DC is a lost cause as are most "single track" trails in PHX. but when you get the rare chance to re live more of your childhood....splash through a puddle. its way more fun that you remember.

I don't know if you had your speakers on but I told them to ride through the puddle.
