Ahwatukee area and Headset Press Tool?

Hi! Does anyone in the Ahwatukee area have a headset press tool that I could borrow for a new build over the week between XMAS and New Years?

    I have beer..

    Thanks,
    Bob

If you cant find one just bring it to SMC and have Craig do it real quick. He is a great guy and does great work. My guess is that he won't charge more than like 10 bucks for that.

Always an option, but I want to do all the build myself...

Have you seen the DIY headset tool in the tools forum? Looks ok and it's cheap.

    Are you going to face:

    1) the crown race on your fork?
    2) the head tube?
    3) (and chase) the BB?
    4) the disc brake mounts?

    1. You mean reface the Crown Race seat on the fork
(if necessary) when R & R the Crown Race, right?

Not always necessary unless the Crown Race removal was botched
by not using the proper tooling.

    Head tube done at factory
BB faced at factory. I cleaned the threads of the BB
I faced the disc brake mounts.

    Thanks,
    Bob
