pretty much! the best part about it is that she had an absolute blast... hopefully have her out again this wknd. rudy the trail dog, on the other hand, has the wknd off with some fairly significant pad damage last week that needs to heal. i might have to get the poor guy some booties!

Slow & Steady / Photo Friday

This morning's ride on Sonoron was not great ... a little to technical for me on Sonoron uphill from Dixie (errrr "exposure" is a good word for it)... but I ran into this guy who reminded me slow and steady wins the race, so I hucked it on up and kept pedaling it into a good ride down Dixie to Pemberton and around the park before heading back up.

    Monsoonal goodness down south

These rains change the trail by the minute. I'm enjoying rediscovering my regular section of the AZTrail, just south of Patagonia, every day.

You know, I do like these threads, for reasons stated before. If you're looking forward to riding, it's stoke, if you don't get to this weekend for some reason, it's a little vicarious living...uh, wait, that makes it sound like FB. sry.

But on a better note, Gunnison Hartman Rocks, Monarch Crest and 401 were sampled this last weekend. Excellent times, good friends, and a serious shout out to Secret Stash Pizza in CB. The Notorious F.I.G. pizza, figs, prosciutto, parm, asiago, all paired well with a black butte porter.

Awesome, a proud moment indeed. My 9 year old wants to learn spd's this weekend. The FV trails and tandem are perfect for minimizing what could be a painful process

I have a daughter turning 2 in October and she is getting her first bike (don't tell her). As much as I don't want her to grow up due to how much fun this stage is, your pics make me really look forward to it. Thanks for that.

    This morning at SoMtn...

It was VERY moist! Humidity was high even before the rain set in. It made for empty trails and a very cool sunrise though. Got 1 shot with the timer as I climbed Javelina and 2 more on National. the last shot is with my lowlight lens as a filter. Kinda cool but not exactly centered
