Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! **Missing Friend Near South Mountain**

    Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to get the word out about a good friend of mine who went missing in the area of South Mountain near Phoenix. His name is Brian Histand and he's been missing for about two weeks now. Brian was a good friend of mine in college, where we rode bmx together just about every day. He's originally from the Philadelphia, PA area, went to college in Bloomsburg, PA, and recently moved to Arizona with his girlfriend and some other friends. I know this is a mountain bike website, but hey...we're all bike riders, right?

Obviously his friends and family are very worried and would just like to know what is going on. I know South Mountain is a popular mountain bike area, so I'm hoping that everyone can keep an eye out the next time they are in that area.

The local news in Phoenix just did a news story on Brian (link below) and if you google "Brian Histand Missing", you'll get all sorts of hits on various bits of the story. I know the news story makes it seem like he just went off on his own, but even if that is the truth, we'd like to try and get some closure. If you have any information on our friend, please send me a message, e-mail (ebn88233@huskies.bloomu.edu), or contact the local police.

Sounds like the dude is sick of this twisted world and needed a break, if thats mental illness then I don't want to be well.
