Rode there this past Sunday and noticed construction a few hundred yards town side of the main trail up. Looks like they are placing sewer or water lines. Maybe a next phase of the Anuhea development?

Anyone have the straight story on what's going on?

BTW, conditions on Sunday were PERFECT. The trails are getting a nice "buff" to them again.

Oh yeah, while I'm asking...anyone know of plans for Gary's to re-open?

I havent heard of any thing re: Gary's re-opening. As far as Makakilo goes, it looks like the walls are closing in rapidly, ride it while you can! I was there Sunday morning, early. I saw the painted lines on the fire road. Time to look for new options..........
