Looking at the trail reviews, I can't seem to find the hike up, bike down area that people were talking about. When I normally go, I park in that small parking lot which is in front of the big field that has trails that branch off from there. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

You can get there by continuing south west from the parking area, either by looping around the open area and heading s/w or by just going directly down Old Spicewood (yes, on the road).

At the first point s/w from the parking area where the creek goes under the road, there's a second entry point into the trail system that puts on you on the south side of the creek. You can go left and up the doubetrack from here or striaght-forward, up a short steep, and then right to go up the singletrack.

Head up the hill and explore.

If you stay on the right-side singletrack watch out for exposure.

Cheers.

I recall crossing once, by a dam or further. I think I might of found it on the Texas Hiking site. St. Edwards - Hill Trail. Thanks.
