Does anyone know how much travel this frame has? Is it a realistic idea to ride one or are they too outdated? Is anyone riding one or does anyone still have one? Thanks, Kevin

Thanks, Kevin My teammate has one and our other teammate used it for the entire 04 adventure racing season. The 3rd teamate loved it and the owner was even considerring taking the bike back and getting rid of his 03 Jamis Dakar Pro XC. I think he's full of it, but if you can get your hands on one please check the rear shock. The frame uses the world cup frame design of Proflex that attaches the shock to the seatstay. The Noleen shock is ok, but not made anymore. Risse makes a replacement and they have a few options to use for this frame, anyway overall it is a great frame and a wondeful bike. Since it is a 97, you will probably need to upgrade many parts if not already upgraded. Good luck. Kevin K 03-25-2005, 11:30 AM I bought the bike pretty cheap for my dad to get into mountain biking so he could ride with me. Most of the componets are already upgraded on it it has avid mech front brak and SD? rear brake along with XTR levers etc. So the build seems pretty nice. I was actually planning on switching the componets to a steel hardtail frame i have because i didn't think the frame would be much good. Do you know how much travel it has? Thanks for the info, Kevin liljoe76 03-28-2005, 07:11 AM Do you know how much travel it has?
