Here's a picture of the prototype DBR 2006 Road bike. Diamondback is returning to road bikes after a two (model) year absense from road. This is the bike at the International Seattle Bike Expo. It got some very good feedback!

Looks like a much better component spec.

I am a little unsure about the two year absence. I recently purchased a DBR 'Podium Team Carbon' road bike running 10 speed a dura ace group. I can't find this on the web (which was a pain) but will post a photo soon. Anyway, the frame is full carbon.
It seems we can still get (presumably current) DBR roadies in Australia, as a local shop stocks them, although again, I can't find anything on the web. What is with this?

I'm curious: is there a plan to re-introduce DBR-badged bikes, as shown on the road bike? I know they now offer DBRs, but Diamondback remains the larger decal, with DBR much smaller. The road bike looks like the DBR mountain bikes did around 1998. Yes, I'm fishing for ways to get the large decal for my old frame!

As I said, I can't find any mention of this on the web, but it is full Dura-Ace 10 speed (including wheels), 3T bars and stem and Easton post.
Everything is stock except the seat - how I ever hopped on a bike before getting a Fizik saddle is now a mystery!

There are several DBR/Diamondback companies all over the world. I believe there is 5 or 6 of them. Each runs indipendently from the other but they all use the same name. None of them have to make the same bikes.
