hey yall what's up?! I was just wondering if any of you have ever heard of a k2 nomad 3.0?? I can't seem to find any thing out about it on the net or in k2's site. i got a good price on the bike at dick's sporting goods(yeah i know) and i needed a decent bike for commuting and trailriding. the bike is made very well with impeccable welds, a 6061 aluminum frame with the box gusset on the underside of the huge down tube, a suntour sr 170mm crank, grind ac preload adjustable fork, alex 6061 x rims, kenda klaw xt rubber, sram 5.0 drivetrain w/ gripshifters, and promax disc brakes. I got it half off at 250.00(was 499.00). i've ridden the bike a lot and honestly, i'm really impressed. feels extremely solid and responsive to my pedal inputs. climbs exellently and is fairly lightweight. handles great. feels like it's velcro'ed to the ground(probably due to the klaws). some of the components are o.k., but could stand to be upgraded. Anyway, i just wondered if any of you had heard of this paticular model, how strong the frame is(i'm a 200 lb. guy who is pretty rough on stuff), and if this might be simply a rebadged zed(it kinda looks like one). Thanks for all of your input guys, i really appreciate it!! It's great to finally find a cool forum that's strictly k2. later!
