Hey Mike,
Firstly thanks for your previous help with regards my XTR woes.
I gave Shimano Australia a rang and was instructed to lube my pistons with mineral oil and if that doesn't work to send the caliper in and they'll return it within 24hrs.
I had a good look a my caliper and indeed it is sticky piston syndrome, the non driveside piston was pritty much stuck and only moved about a 1/5 of the way out. I forced just that piston out and thoroughly lubed it and did the same to the driveside piston just for good measure. I put the caliper back on a presto and seems fine with ever so slight rub, probably more from lack of alignment than anything else.
The weather is very dry here and cosuqently the trails dusty so I figure a day on the trails should be enough to see if the lube is enough, otherwise I will return for replacement!
