Still surprising amounts of snow up there. Five of use were so hard up for a ride that we just didn't care how much ice/snow there was.
The trailhead didn't look promising:

Surprisingly, since it's melting/dissolving it gave quite a bit of traction. No issues riding it at all.
The snow was kinda patchy. You'd being going along on a completely clear section and then wham! Snow and ice. It was weird.
I took these two pictures at the same spot. One's looking up and the other's looking back. The snow just started suddenly.

All in all we got about 11-12 miles in. There were a few slightly muddy sections but since 80% was snow and ice covered I didn't get very muddy. A pic of the bike post ride:

Next week will probably be a mud fest. I'm hoping for some freezing temps come the weekend!
