After reading stuff on this board, I'm not sure how many people have ever ridden a 29 inch soft tail. OR MAYBE THEY HAVE & ARE PLAYING THE SPECIAL INTEREST CARD.
I have owned & ridden hardtails for 20 plus years, & have ridden friends full suspension bikes. But a few years ago I rode a buddies 26 moots softtail & last year his 29 moots softtail. They rode so well that it convinced me to buy the salsa softtail (economics). This bike rides very well once you get used to it. (or for me, de-program the genesis geometry reflexes). Softtail bikes really smooth out the trail, big rock gardens.. no problem...today I had too little air in both front & rear shocks, wow that rear can really slam / bottom out. Just thought I would add that to keep it real.
ps. those moots bikes are nice (ti) , $$$$ & the bob thing! Maybe next time....

and please post a more complete report after you get more saddle time on it.I'm thinking that if it needs more cush,I could use my USE sus post on it.
