Yeah, I was watching it to see if any one actually bid on it. Seems like it would be a fun bike to have, even if it is kinda one dimensional. Or two if you live near sand and snow.

I think I'd rather have a standard moots anyways, but this would make a nice 6th bike for someone with the bucks, you know, 1st hardtail, 2nd FS, 3rd Cyclocross, 4th DH, 5th Singlespeed, and finally 6th snowbike. But thats just my order. No road bike as I'd use my cross for road.
And naturally this doesn't count any of my retro bikes.

If he'd drop the price to $2500 I'd buy it. But 1/2 the year is winter here so I'd get a lot of use out of it. I've actually thought seriously about building one like that myself, only out of steel because I can't justify getting a $3k frame when someone can do it in steel for 1/3 the price.
