I just found out how little snow Whistler has.

Are there any trails open in the area? Forcast has some snow tonight, but it's looking like the freezing level will still be well above the Village.

Any info on if/where to ride is much appreciated.

Lost Lake, Cut yer bars, River runs through it, Train Wreck are totally clear but moist (not too wet)
I don't know about anything out of the valley but I assume that anything within 300-500 feet of the valley bottom is also clear.
Skiing - not so good

Apparently Squamish is in great condition.

Oops - change that advice.

Got 1 inch of wet snow last night and lightly snowing now. With these temperatures it could be gone by the end of the day but no guarantees. (there is still no snow under the trees so parts of trails would still be snow free)

Thanks for the info, eh.

I actually posted kinda late, didn't end up bringing the bike. But as I'm sure you're well aware, 28cm (11inches) of fresh last Friday. So, I didn't need the bike, and since it was my first day of the year on the snow, muscles were uber-sore.

WA's snow pack is even worse than BC. Be glad you a place like whizzler in your back yard. The snow melt vigil's begun down here, lookn' to earliest ever access to the high country.

Thanks again for the info.
