:D
Heya all, I'm in OZ (Australia), Victoria East Melbourne, my local track is Lysterfield. Been on and off MTB due to injuries. Just got back into it 2 months ago after 7 months of rest :D This the 2nd time back for me and will makesure to take it easy this time around :D Just both GT Ava 0.0 hardtail and looking forward to getting dual susp this time next year.
With all these multi brand design frames (dual susp) what's the best one out there? I'm talking bob free and less kick back etc...like my hard tail except better comfort and ride
Anyway, if some of you in live in my neck-of-the-woods plz drop a note...
ride ....ride

Well.....
You didn't give much about yourself. What sort of $$$ you want to spend and what sort of riding you do.
I really don't know where to start. Heres a list of bikes that probably suit what your looking for.
Giant NRS
Santa cruz blur and intense VPP
Yeti ASR
Titus racer X
Specialized epic
Ellsworth truth
And so on...
And remember with all the new high tech shocks coming out theres not many bikes around that have 'alot' of bob. Even the most basic designs if you have a smooth pedaling stroke they don't bob, espeically with new SPV and propedal shocks.
You could even look at the new GT bikes, although i think they are silly and too much metal and moving parts when you can get a much simpler bike which weighs less, has more durability and works about the same.
BTW I live in Sydney.
Sorry i gave a 'bad' answer but we need more info, especially about your budget.

I do agrressive cross country and probably will do cross country racing sometime in the future (club level). I've been looking at Giant VT2, Jamis Dakar expert XC, Specialised Enduro & Stumpjumper, GT Adventure I-Drive, & Norco etc....Just looking around the market for the next MTB update in 2005. The bikes now are really good, & our dollars looking good, so by next year will have better bikes (Frame & Parts), can't wait ppl :D My budget will be in $3000+ mark, or maybe less than that. I just want the good stuff for my 2 cents :D
