I purchased this Ibis from a friend of mine back in 1993. I'm pretty sure it's circa 1987-88. Very unique paint job, wouldn't you say. Alan, if you happen to read this, maybe you can chime in with your story. It's pretty darn funny.

Anyway, it's been hanging in my garage for the last four years. My son used to ride it, but he's more concerned with his Fender Strat and the girlfriend of the week. Outside of a few scratches here and there, it's in very good shape. A little bit of elbow grease, and she'd look pretty good. I'm searching for the original goose neck, which is painted exactly like the frame. If anyone out there has seen the gooseneck, please let me know who to contact.

Glad to see you still have my old bike! That brings back memories.
The story, fwiw, is that I was at Scott Nicol's factory ( read garage ) and he and I couldn't decide what color Wes should finish it in. After a couple of post ride beers, I dipped my fingers into several colored paint cans and literally "flicked" it on the frame. It looked cool to us and Wes finished the rest of it that way!
