We've been having some awesome weather in West Texas. Here's a shot of my camp this weekend. Your new ride is absolutely beautiful. My other reason for having you go with us to ride would of course be to catch a mile or two on that thing. I hope it dries up for you soon, so you can get in some ride time. Just be careful of that wooden deck on the ferry...LOL! SHIVER ME TIMBERS 01-24-2005, 07:11 PM Jim, I wish I could invite you on a ride here as of late. Seriously though, it's kinda crazy. This ranch we ride our mountain bikes and motorcycles on is way out in the boondocks. On a good weekend, there are many thousands of dollars of equipment sitting all over the place, unlocked and unattended. Of course there's also an 8' oil field pipe fence all around the place, and we're a long way from any public roads. I've been riding at that place since '79, and we've never had anything stolen.....but I'll be watchin' for ya...LOL! JimC. 01-25-2005, 07:41 AM work soon, maybe a road trip is in order. My only Texas experience is the usual Dallas hub airport one...enroute to somewhere else. Hope to hit the trails today, like an idiot I forgot pedals, got them yesterday. So now finally I'm ready. Cheers, Nice looking Bullits BTW, Jim TNC 01-25-2005, 08:23 AM work soon, maybe a road trip is in order. My only Texas experience is the usual Dallas hub airport one...enroute to somewhere else. And BTW, give us a ride report on how that thing shakes out as soon as you can. JimC. 01-25-2005, 08:47 AM I did voice/data communications with major Cdn providers like Bell, now I'm looking for anything but that stuff. It's way too competitive for an old guy like me. chasing down some project management type stuff right now. Hope to get on the bike today, if not, Thursday night ride will be the initial ride. Jim |
