Got 23+ folks together for a group ride near Rockerville, SD in the central Black Hills. Recent 50 and 60 degree temps have everything dried out. Sell you skis, burn your snowboard. It was 55 at the start of the ride, and my beer was warm by the end as it climbed into the 60s.......maybe global warming isn't such a bad thing.

If your in the Black Hills region, or in driving distance, be sure to check in at www.acmebicycles.com for group rides from time to time.

It was nearly 50 in Sioux Falls.
Unbelieveable for this time of year.
It was a nice change of pace from our normal Ice rides this time of year.
I can't wait until spring.
Today was a teaser

Yeah, we've been having record warm and record dry weather. Bad for the forest this summer, but the trail riding has been fine! Local RC rides (Skyline, St Martin's etc are only wet in minor spots). Storm Mt is fine and dandy but for Coon Hollow, Alkali Creek and Bulldog are in the best shape I've seen (ZERO snow and mud) in ages, seems like July in there. Hwy 44 is dry, some slick spots in The Bone Collector, but damn, dust your bike off and ride! I'd bet that Deerfield Lake loop is fine, too....maybe.

Any BH locals, catch the Superbowl Pre-Ride, skip the Pre-Game! www.acmebicycles.com
