That’s right! Just a little bike and beer git-together in the Nor-Cal foothills. Very informal...yet somewhat organized... You have seen the pix here on MTBR. If you have never been to Auburn this might be a good time to come check it out. I have plenty of acerage suitable for camping and there are plenty of inexpensive places to stay around here....more info to come...but here are some early details.... Friday.. Night Ride (April 2nd) 7pm under an "almost full" moon. Time and place TBA. Saturday (April 3rd) morning group rides, Party Starts at noon....festivities include racing events on private singletack, beer, BBQ, mexican food from Marias! (it's an Auburn thang) and campfire....maybe some live music too! Sunday (April 4th) Hangover Ride...Auburn to the Top of FDLT and Back. My wife I are thinking of moving to the Auburn area in the near future. From the sound of your invite there's great riding in the area. If we move up there can a hardcore mtb'er be happy?

One of the best things about Auburn is the close proximity of Tahoe riding...and all the great places in between Auburn and Tahoe.....including Downieville. Also close to Nevada City (south yuba river trail this sunday....yum!), Georgetown, Folsom (slamin falls).

There are miles and miles of Trails in The Auburn State Rec area. If you like night riding....Auburn is pretty awesome.

You gotta come check it out!
