I ran across this rumor over on RBR.com. Never heard it before, and was wondering how old this rumor is. Anyone else hear rumors of Trek pursuing a buyout of Diamondback?? Just curious...

I am not sure. I work at a shop that is both a Trek dealer and a Raleigh/Diamondback dealer. I have not heard a peep out of either companies about this so-called buy-out. I guess well have to keep our eyes and ears tuned in.

I work for a Trek dealer as well, and that is "news" to me.

No such buy out is in the works; planned, exist, etc. It must have been a VERY slow news day @ RBR.com to have come up with that one. If they (rbr.com) would spend more time concentrating on that Big Foot story and less on made up buy outs, we would have Sasquash in a local zoo by now!
