I recently purchased a 2004 dawg dee lux and noticed a small circular scratch on the down-tube near the bottom bracket. The scratch is slightly recessed when compared to the rest of the tube.
My question is how can this be touched up since the frame is silver (polished) in this area.
I realize that this is not a big deal, and there will be more scratches in the future as it is a mountain bike.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I 've got a new 04 explosif which has already a lot of paint chips. My LBS said that kona doesn't have any touch up paint for my color, but an enamal paint for models at a hobby shop would do a great job in protecting and sticking to the frame.
Check with your LBS or cruise over to a hobby shop with your bike to match the paint.
Best of Luck...
Thanks, but the frame in the affected area seems to polished aluminum. What can I do with that?
After a few e-mails to the Kona tech department, I found out that the recessed scratch was actually a small area that was lacking clearcoat.
Although they provide touch-up paint for the painted area of the frame, which is great, there is nothing for the polished aluminum.
Not a problem, you can use clear nail polish for this. I put a few layers of clear nail polish, then polished it with some polishing compound (added some water to soften and rubbed very carefully).
I declared victory when the defect was only noticeable when looking from about an inch away.
I can't wait for winter to end!!!!!!!!!!!
