I have a 2001 Rocket 88 and a 2002 Mongoose Pro Sommet. Both that needed new rear suspension parts from use/wear. Called Pacific bikes on two occassions. Most recently 1 week ago to order the parts for the mongoose with credit card in hand.
Not only did they ship the parts the same day via fedex, they included extra linkage arms and parts as well as the bushings and bearings. Also included was 2 spare derailler hanger. The total cost to me? NOTHING!!! They covered it under warrantee.
Kinda eases my mind about all of the warrantee issue worries I had. I guess the life span of my Schwinn and Mongoose just got extended for a few more years. I almost thought I'd have to retire the Mongoose and ride my Jamis and Giant.
