M1_joel 11-30-2004, 01:16 PM probably better off contacting FOES direct instead of creating a shlt storm online with people who have no experience with this fork. Banshee Rider 11-30-2004, 01:34 PM Agreed, i dont know of anyone of this forum with one of those forks, best calling foes for the answer you seek. SprungShoulders 11-30-2004, 02:50 PM I have the older F1-XL. Same seals, I believe. Mine has always left just a little oil on the stanchions. I asked Krispy @ Go-Ride about it (he re-shimmed the damper for me), and he said it was pretty normal. YMMV. Good luck. Katana 11-30-2004, 08:53 PM Someone have it or heard about leaking from the dust seals ??? How long have you had those? I've had mine for about 6 months now, and the first few rides there was a similar amount of oil, mabey a touch less. I figure it is normal seepage as everything breaks in. It has subsided since then. If you still have the problem after several rides, I'd contact Eric Butler at Foes. I think the forks really begin to break in after about 15 hours. Just curious, are you running a Ti or steel spring? nintense 12-01-2004, 08:56 AM How long have you had those?
