Just an FYI for you EW fans...

Feb 2004 page 178 "MBUK Super Bikes" (I think that's a monthly new bike section)
Looks like MBUK got a jump on the US mags again.

Anyway, this is more of a first look or product anouncement not a review. As such it could do with a bit more detail but it's still interesting.

Of course they love it. A matter of fact they say it is "Probably the best big terrain all-rounder we've ever tested". Now we all know how praise happy the mags can get and this is not a rating or a shootout comparison but it shows a lot of potential. I'd say the lucky few who get their hands on the limited 1st year production frames are in for some fun.

BTW they tested this one with a Fox Talas RLC fork and a Talas pro pedal rear shock, so I guess they were running 5x5.

It's a shortish writeup but the mag is always loaded with other good stuff.

Happy reading!

Would you be willing to scan it into a reply?

Would you be willing to scan it into a reply?Could I, would I, should I?

Yes, yes, and no...well not yet anyway. I really like MBUK and MBR, and I figure they gotta eat too so I don't think it's fair to scan from a issue that's still on the newsstand. (even though it's a limited distribution import) But I've been known to scan older ones.;)

Not to worry the text was quite short. But it had very drool-worthy pictures.
