lume lightning is $260 out the door on thier HID. I got mine this week. Top quality stuff.

L&M Arc is 3.5 watts brighter than the Lume for just $30 more. (13.5 watts vs 10 watts). Just one of my deciding factors plus the review MTBR did on HID lighting.

This is bullsheet fuzzy math. They both use the EXACT same Welch-Allyn balast and bulb. I think L&M is giving the total system wattage (bulb and ballast) vs. Lume just stating the true bulb wattage. The only performance difference is they both use a custom reflector so the beam pattern is slightly different. I haven't checked out the Arc very well but I thought the Lume "wide" pattern was still a very tight spot. The Lume is a nice package though, beautifully machined and carbon fiber. I'm glad I didn't get one though.
