For anyone interested in doing some trail work, The Disciples of Dirt MTB club in Eugene, Oregon will be doing a 3 day trail work festival this weekend. Friday thru Sunday, we will be clearing trails in the Oakridge area, cleaning up the downed limbs and trees from this winters snow and ice storms. There is alot more work than we can handle, so please come out and help if you like to ride these trails. We will be meeting at The Trailhead Cafe in Oakridge around 8am on friday, and 9am on saturday and sunday. Feel free to email me with any questions, or if anyone needs a ride from the Eugene area.
Without the help of our local biking community, many trails will not get cleared this spring, so if you want to ride, we need to get these trails cleared soon. Please come out to help if you dont have any urgent plans. You'll be helping the community, and ensuring great trails for this summer, plus it reminds the Forest Service that we care about taking care of our trails. Sasquatch

Well, we had a great tunout this weekend and were able to clear 8 different trails in the Oakridge area. 31 different people put in time to do 290 hours of trailwoprk this past weeekend. Good on ya, Matt. Personally, I was out of town on business last weekend but I plan to be there both Saturday and Sunday in March. With the heavy winter we're experiencing, there's still lots to do.
