Dang, you're getting no love at all here. I'm not much help either, as I generally blast out the door at the last second when a window of opportunity arises. Never fear though. Once the time changes there'll be regular rides at Harbison. Hook up with the good folks at the Harbison Cycle Center and I'm sure they'll give you the scoop.

If you road ride at all, the Friday night beer ride from 5 Points is also a good place to make connections.

I dont know how you can live in Columbia, that place sucks...(where are the mountains)...If you are ever up this way, a couple of us would love to hook to ride sometime. Issaquenna, Dupont, Pisgah, Tour de Dump...all those options...
Peace
John

I'm in Lancaster, which is pretty close to Charlotte. I don't get down to Columbia very often, and when I do it's not usually to bike, so I can't make any suggestions in specific.

For SC trails in general, try http://www.sctrails.net/trails/ or click Trail Reviews at the top of the screen for MTBR trail reviews.

If you can't find your local IMBA chapter, check with your LBS about local trails. Several shops in Charlotte give away a booklet with Charlotte trails, I would hope that they have something like that in Cola.

Good luck!

Tom
