Hey people!
I need some expert advice on how to keep my pants from getting nice black marks from the chain. I tried using a rubber band on my pant leg but that doenst seem to work to well. If anyone had any other tips that I should try that would be great. Thanks for helping out a lost newbie!

I don't wear regular pants when I ride so these are just some guesses that I think may work:
1. Wax based lube so you have a cleaner and less oily chain
2. Roll up the driveside pant leg
3. Chain guard like on old cruisers
4. Wear 80's style tapered pants/jeans
5. Multiple rubber bands so your pants stay close to your leg from the cuff to just below the knee.

good luck.

You could wear the aber cargo style pants with the draw string at the bottom and just pull up the pant leg on the chain side to your knee.
