Has anyone seen one of these before? I guess there is a rarer ibis than the bowti.

Unfortunately the only information I have is that the frame's price was $6900 and that this price was based on the hourrate of the Ibis tamdembicycles. That's it.

I see the ebay one was sold for over $2700. Great price I think, but of course an even greater buy. In a few years man has already forgotten the price paid, but is still enjoying this wonderfull bike. :D

I was watching this and hoping the cheque for my car sale would have cleared in time - sadly not. I did swap an email with the seller and they stated:

"It is 1 of only 2 frames made. I actually spoke with the designer of the bike and he said that 10 steel frames were made and 2 titanium frame and the about 1000 alum. frames were produced. The ti frame was to expensive to mass produce. The frame was built in 95-96 and was worth $6500 alone not including the xtr components"

So yes I guess it must be rarer than a Bow Ti and Hmmmm steel version's hhmmmm <strokes goatee beard>... interesting. anybody know of any Bow Ti's for sale?
