Melrose, the Flinders Range, and the riding in South Australia? Just wondering. Any photos would be greatly appreciated, too!

I'm sure we've got at least a couple of South Australians on the boards, but I'll ask a mate of mine down here in Tassie for you.

He lives in SA, but has been working down here for the last few months. I might be able to give you his e-mail address later.

Planning a trip down under?? From what I understand (having never ridden there myself), SA has a huge MTB population. I heard they might be having a bit of trouble with trail access though?? I'm not real sure. I do know that there are a number of dedicated MTB parks, and I'm sure the locals find plenty of places to ride!! :D

I'm sure someone that actually knows the place will fill you in. ;)

Apparently the word on the street is that they are trying to make it into a mtb area with the addition of something like 30 kms of mtb trails each year for a while. that is word from a guy that has been involved with the environmental impact of it all.
