Im wanting to work on all parts of my riding and obviously technial is one of them, the problem is the only way i can get to places with decent descents is if someone gives me a lift which isnt as often as id like. :(
So im trying to think of ways to help me become better in technical situations and one of the ideas i though that might help would be doing wheelies, stopies and small drop-offs among other things you do in the street while messing around.
I thought that it might help the skills as youll be working on balance, were to position your body and gaining confidence as you progress and then you could input them back into off-road riding.
Do you think thats true?
If not anyone else got any ideas?
Cheers,

I've found over the years that the #1 skill that helps in singletrack riding is balance. If you're balance is goiod enough to do a trackstand, you'll find that situations that forced you off the bike before you can ride through. So, stunt-type stuff can help improve your balance, and an improved balance will help your singletrack riding. Besides, it's fun.
