Anyone got any feedback from recent rides on the Santa Ana River trail at Angeles Oaks in the San Bernardino Mountains. I have a group ride planned this weekend and want to make sure all is well up there. I have not ridden it for a few years.

I'd also like to know what the conditions are. Did it get washed out anywhere due heavy rains? Is it covered with Snow? I'd like to ride this one soon. Thanks

Well, we made it to SART this past Saturday...needless to say that there was a fair amount of snow on a lot of the upper trail and road leading up to the top section by the river. We hiked through the snow for 3 miles before getting a taste of the downhill singletrack, and eventually turned around and rode Hwy 38 back up to the cars. Fun, cold and a memorable experience, but better idea to wait until the snow melts a bit. Maybe 1-2 weeks if it stays dry around So. Cal.
