I got me some of these...

Buddy at the bike shop sold them to me for cheap because they sat on the shelves for the longest time.

They are good for fire road and hardpack riding. That's it though. I have the Boxter model with the short knobs. You can't lean while cornering, you'll wash out. I can only recommend them for fireroad riding and also street commuting because they have a low rolling resistence factor.

Sweetskinz was showing off some more aggressive tread patterns at Interbike, as seen in the photo from the first post.

I think in order for Sweetskinz to be successful, they some how have to lower the price point on these. MSRP is $50. Fifty smackers is alot of change to ask for a non aggressive 1.95 wide tire IMO. Many riders like color, as seen by the success of the blue/red/yellow Panaracers, but they still want useful performance out of the tires. The Boxter model is too limited in it's usefulness.

I would say they are comparable to a Maxxis Larson or a Hutchinson Python in terms of performance and tread. They are burly though, suckers are holding up pretty well.
