I rode the 'fence-line' trail from the main lot down to the dikes, passed the Rt44 parking spot, back up the trails that run to the right of the power lines. Once you get to the top - where some of the drop off are, is there any single track that will take you back to the main lot? Past the drop off, I saw a trail duck into the woods that looked like it headed further away from Rt44. Since I was riding alone, I didn't temp getting lost. Where does this trail go? I ended up cutting in by the 'two-finger' rock and took the fire road to the left, which eventually brough me back to a point where I could catch the fence-line back to the main lot.

I t was a fun ride but after all that climbing I would have rather enjoyed some single track as opposed to the fire-road...

You can make a loop that's a little less than 10 miles. I live about 4 miles from the Res so I ride there often. If you follow the trails up you should cross a creek then come to a section of that has been armoured, then crosses a creek again then continues up for another 200 or so yards. Look for a trail on the left that will go up, it's a fun trail, lots of turns. This will come out to an intersection where you will make a right, go over the log and make a left. This is actually the same trail that crosses the creeks. Take this until you get back to the main lot. along the way keep an eye out to the right. Take the trails as they come because the all go back onto the main trail. Or you could ride with the nemba group ride that leaves at one o'clock from the main parking lot on Tuesday afternoons. I generally ride to loop the other way, but the way I was descibing is still a ton of fun. good luck.
