The MA forum, and the CT/RI forum both see very little activity. At times the ME/VT/NH forum is a bit slow. Geographically all of these states are very close to each other. Do you guys think it makes sense to roll all six states into a New England forum?

As a former Connecticutian who would drive to VT to go skiing, but now driving the same distance from the SF bay area to Tahoe to bike and snowboard I would think it a decent idea.

I'm still waiting to find out if there are any biking trails of note in Fairfield County BTW.

As a new Connecticutian I've been trying to introduce this word into the local lexicon. I pronounce it like Lilliputian. I think that Nutmegger is silly and doesn't have the oomph that Connecticutian has. It's good to see a fellow user of the term.

CT hasn't had "The Nutmeg State" on license plates since the 80's. They dropped it for "The Constitution State" which when they instituted the income tax in the early 90's more became referred to as the constipation state.

Besides, who uses or cares about nutmeg anyway? Perhaps a few who use it on obscure french toast recipes.

Either might have caught on better if we had a football or baseball team.
