when i rode at the white tank competition tracks this past sunday there were at least a dozen hikers out there. i almost rode into an old guy walking his dog. has anyone else noticed that lately there are a lot more hikers out there? i wrote to a guy in the park office-i told him i felt someone is ENcouraging the comp track to be hiked when i think it should be DIScouraged. hope he can do something about it soon.

anyway, i know there is a race coming up, so the whole reason for this post is to warn the practicing competitors to watch out for the hikers. i know this should not even be an issue, but there it is. be careful out there.

There used to be a sign in the parking lot warning off hikers, is it still there. I personally have only seen hikers pushing bicycles out there.
