Mine was before the sun finally decided to break through.

I decided to take my geared bike out since my Surly was buried in the back. It's the bike second to the very left, with the orange hub.

This is what the sun looked like when I headed out, which was the most I had seen of it in days!

My goal was to make it to the Colorado River, at least I did that! Looks pretty cold with the ice floating in it!

Nice pics! I'm not unhappy where I live, but Fruita looks like one of the few other places I'd consider living.

Good stuff!

I really like that last shot with the snow covered bush against the red rock. Fruita is on my list of places to go ride when I get the chance.

It usually is not so cold and snowy here. I'm not used to it anymore and I thought I was done shivering (having spent a few winters at 9000 ft. in the CO rockies) when I moved here.

Here's another cold shot from today.

Wow. I can't imagine that much snow there. Barely seems to have dropped below 50 so far this winter here.

http://gallery.consumerreview.com/webcrossing/images/monumentjan04014_1.jpgWe have an abnormal amount of snow and unusually low temps this month. I'm about tired of it. Of course Chet has escaped to AZ for the last week, but he will have to return soon!
