Ibex seems to be the Rodney Dangerfield of Bikes. They don't get any respect and I dont know why.
Great bikes, good prices, good looks, great warranty, good components, save money.
Whats wrong with That.
Speaking of Rodney

There always seems be a bunch of haters of sensible well made affordable products. This is true for anything and everything gear related.
I came close to ordering an Apogee frame, but decided to save some dough and get the KHS 304 Jensons frame deal instead. Speaking of which, KHS is also a commonly dissed brand, most of time the flack is based on nothing, just hatin' an affordable product because of it's price and perceived lack of quality due to the low price.
When I used to deejay in high school, all the kids with $$$ bought fancy mixers and turntables. They were always hatin' on my used $40 Radio Shack Realistic mixer, which worked just fine and got everyone dancin' just as fine as their fancy NuMark mixers.
EDIT: And btw, that budget mixer still works til this day. I bought it used in '92 and who knows how old it was when I came upon it.

I read about that. As a matter of fact, this thread came to mind as I was reading his obituary.
I think "Easy Money" , "Back to School" and "Caddy Shack" were his best films.
