I am going to be in Kingman, AZ in early October and has wonderng if someone could give me directions to Bootleg Canyon from Kingman. Also, how long would that drive take? I want to start early as I'm sure it is still pretty hot in October in Boulder City.
I check out the favorite trails thread for bootleg and got some ideas but if anyone wants to chime in with a good xc ride that would take about 2 hours, please let me know.
Thanks for the information.

I think its about 1.5 - 2 hours drive if you take 93 north. after you cross the dam you drivve about 7 miles and come to an intersection with a Burger King on the left take a right you will still be on 93 north , there will be a turn lane for right turns, about .25 miles futher is Yucca Dr. go right and drive up the hill and you will see the restroom/parking area. I run a motel,Sands Motel, in Boulder City and would be glad to ride with ya, I like to ride right after I put the continental breakfast out :D

Thanks for the information/directions and the offer to ride. The reason to go to Kingman was to go to a Great Aunts 97th birthday but unfortunately she passed away yersterday so we may not be heading up in early October. I will let you know when we make it up there 'cause I would like someone to ride with.
Sorry to hear 'bout the Aunt. Your welcome for the directions, I'm always here ready for a ride!
