I'll be heading there at the end of July and teaching for the next two years. What kind of riding (either road or mountain) can I hope to find down there? Any good clubs?

hey how are you doing? my name is eric. i am the pres of a local mountain bike club. there is alot of road riding around here and some mounatin biking. as of right now you would have to drive about an hour to get some riding in as the local trail is flooded. but feel free to email me with any questions you have. about the local scene. ratboy@cox.net

so ummm ... can i ride a jetski on the trail ... yeah you can get a lot of road miles in on the lake & river levees but dirts hard to come by ... but a lot of locals go to Baton Rouge and Biloxi and Mobile to ride dirt so check the boards for posted rides
