I have a 2004 Jekyll 400 that I replaced the lousy Manitou Axel fork with a 120mm Marzocchi MX Comp. It seems to match the rear suspension pretty well. The MX series are decent low cost forks with typical Marzocchi high quality standards.

and are wanting to replace the fork? Or are you thinking of buying Jekyll? If the latter, I'd say it's a no brainer - get one with a Lefty Max. It's an amazing fork. If you're looking to replace an existing fork, I'd suggest either the Lefty Max or Manitou Sherman with 1.5" steerer for best performance. If you're looking to keep cost down, then the Manitou Black would be a good choice, not as stiff as the lefty or sherman, but a good fork for the money.

i would get the lefty max or the lefty jake (30mm shorter travel) both are better than anything else out there IMO :D

If I were you I would not go with a conventional fork, unless its a Manitou black, sherman, or minute. Get the lefty because its designed for the jekyll, The jake is only 4 inches, but is cheaper than the max. However, the max has the manitou tpc+ damper and would compliment the new 5 inch rear travel jekyll better
